MEET THE PHOTOGRAPHER
HELLO MY LOVE
I am so happy you are here! I guess it makes sense that you would want to get to know a little bit about me before you step in front of my camera!!
So lets get into it, my name is Cassidy Jones. I grew up in a small southeast Texas town called Fannett. I am a lover of all things outdoors and animals, so of course I got involved in livestock at a young age. The cattle industry truly helped shape me into the person I am today. Some of my best memories and relationships were made inside of the show arena. I could go on and on about my passion for the livestock industry, but that's not why you're here. Sooooooo, lets get into it!
HOW IT STARTED
I remember as a kid, taking my friends around and making them model for me. There has always been something about capturing a moment in time and being able to keep it forever that just warms my heart. I have always been the creative type, but I never really knew where it would take me. So here I am, after four years at the BEST university studying Agricultural Communications and Journalism, I graduated without any idea of what career would truly make me happy. Then one day it just hit me. I was taking photos of my friends on campus for my small beaded bracelet business and I just felt so alive. All outside worries were gone and I was HAPPY! Since then, I haven't put my camera down. Some would say it was fate, but I say the Lord led me there at just the right time in my life!
THE WHY
My goal is to capture those moments that make you, well YOU! As a lover of all things love, I thrive on personal connections and memorable moments. Whether it be your love for the school you just spent so much time and energy at, the love of your forever soulmate, the love of an unborn child or the love of your growing family, I LOVE it!! I know, I know, love this, love that, but what is life without love? In my personal opinion, nothing. It is so valuable that it should be captured to look back on and remember just how sweet life really is.
ABOUT PIP
I truly want Purposely Imperfect Photography, or as I like to call it, PIP, to capture who I am as a person and everything that makes life beautiful! I didn't want my photography to just be about me. I wanted to create a business that would represent all of the blessings the Lord as given to each and every one of us.
In the world we live in today, many people strive for perfectionism. Something that no human being was made for. We were designed to be different, and those differences are what make us beautiful. My goal is not to create "perfect" photos but to create photos that perfectly represent you.
From behind the lens I have learned that true beauty is found when we begin to stop striving for perfection and embrace what makes each of us unique. So, if you're ready to embrace all your beautiful imperfections, I would LOVE to get to know more about you!
